Italian Wall Lizard or Ruin Lizard (Podarcis sicula).

Exceptionally beautiful lizards which have also been introduced to America. They are very sturdy and aggressive and can be kept safely with much larger lizards. This is a female who has recently laid eggs as can be seen from the creases on the flanks.

The second picture is of another female - a little unusual in that the dark vertebral stripe almost fades away towards the front of her body. This is more typical of males. She is heavily gravid as can be seen by her bulk.
